National Scrutiny Week 2023

Celebrating the impact of our Customer Partnership Panel

This week is National Scrutiny Week where housing associations from across the country will be celebrating their involved customers and their contribution to improving the services that matter to customers.

To mark the week, we are recognising the fantastic work of our Customer Partnership Panel (CPP). Previously known as the Scrutiny Panel, our group of involved customers recently changed name to reflect how the group works in partnership with our colleagues to ensure we deliver excellent services.

The group was most recently involved in creating our Annual Report for 2022-23, which can be found by clicking this link. There you can watch our My Voice video which tells you all about the importance of the CPP and the customer voice.

We are always looking at more ways that we can involve our customers in our decision-making process. As part of National Scrutiny Week, our Customer Engagement Officer Emily Jukes, attended the National Tenant Scrutiny Conference, where she heard all about how housing associations can turn up the volume on customer voice.

Emily said: “National Scrutiny Week is a chance for us to celebrate the impact of our Customer Partnership Panel and learn about how other organisations work in partnership with their tenants too.

“At the National Tenant Scrutiny Conference, it was great to learn about how other housing associations have created a dedicated Youth Panel, which is something we would love to have here at Homes Plus to make sure customers of all ages have their voices heard.

“At Housing Plus Group, the Customer Partnership Panel are at the forefront of the organisation and we want to involve as many customers as possible.”

Why not join us and help us improve the customer experience?

You don’t need any previous experience to become a CPP member, as we will support you to provide vital feedback that will help ensure our services remain customer focussed.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for you to question and challenge us on how we deliver services, have your say on key policies and work with us to make improvements.

It’s also a wonderful way of meeting new people, learning new skills to add to your CV, building confidence and gaining access to training.

The CPP meets online, during the day and in the evening, so it can fit around your lifestyle. Members are not required to attend every meeting.

If you would like to make a positive difference by helping us improve services, we’d love to hear from you!

Simply complete our online form, telling us that you are interested in becoming a member of our CPP or call us on 0800 048 8955 and we will be in touch with further information.
