Care Plus supports more than 2,000 residents in our retirement living communities and residential care home. We also provide crucial care to older and vulnerable customers in their own homes.
We are at the frontline of efforts to help keep older and vulnerable people safe. Our teams are maintaining these essential services, taking every precaution to prevent infection.
We have been clear about the need to help protect residents in our retirement living communities by ceasing social events and closing access to communal facilities, other than to access fire doors. Visits now should be for essential reasons such as delivering shopping or medication or to carry out personal planned care.
Where customers do not have family members able to deliver food and medical supplies, we have a network of volunteers able to help them. We are also working to reduce the impact of isolation on these customers, by setting up ‘virtual’ entertainment including extremely popular online singing workshops.
Updated advice for customers is published on the Care Plus website.
